BlueChip Launches Solar Leasing Program

By Orlando Business Journal

BlueChip Energy LLC is launching a new solar lease-to-own program for Florida homeowners.

As part of the program, BlueChip is providing its 5-kilowatt solar electric system that includes monocrystalline solar panels, inverter, wiring, combiner box and mounting hardware, including a 25-year warranty.

The 10-year solar lease-to-own option is based on a down payment of $12,995 and a monthly lease payment of $100. The Lake Mary-based company estimates savings over a 25-year period to be more than $100,000.

⿿This is a way for homeowners to take control of their electricity costs by locking in a low rate. Our mission is to make solar power financially viable for more Floridians today,⿝ said Lawrence Hefler, spokesman for the company.

BlueChip Energy is an alternative energy utility provider.
