Tampa consulting firm Renaissance Planning Group and EcoAsset Solutions LLC, a Tampa-based subsidiary of Lykes Bros. Inc., have signed a contract with the City of Clearwater to assist with mobility, energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

The total contract amount is $214,605. Renaissance Planning Groupâ¿¿s portion of the contract is $112,567, and the EcoAsset Solutionsâ¿¿ portion is $102,039.

Under terms of the contract, EcoAsset Solutions is a subcontractor for Renaissance Planning Group.

EcoAsset Solutions will conduct a GHG inventory and a ⿿business-as-usual forecast⿝ for the city as well ass provide a calculator tool to track the community⿿s GHGs, a release said.

EcoAsset Solutions also will create a ⿿Greenprint⿝ for sustainability to measure strategies to mitigate GHG emissions.

Renaissance Planning Group and EcoAsset Solutions will work on GHG reduction strategies such as future land use, transportation, conservation and housing planning initiatives.

The technical analysis and strategic planning will lead to GHG reduction and promote a more sustainable future for the city of Clearwater, EcoAsset Solutions Senior Vice President John Wakefield said in the release.
