Niagara Bottling LLC will hold a job fair July 29 in Clermont to fill 40 positions to support increased capacity at its bottling plant near Groveland.

The company plans to hire for positions including shift mechanics, preventative maintenance mechanics, inventory control associates, machine operators, forklift operators, shipping associates, warehouse supervisors and other management positions, said a news release. Salaries start in the high $30,000s. The positions need to be filled immediately, said Niagara spokeswoman Honey Rand.

The bottling plant, which opened in August 2008, last September received approval on a consumptive use permit from the St. Johns River Water Management District that would allow it to withdraw up to 484,000 gallons of groundwater daily to manufacture plastic water bottles and purify it for drinking water using a reverse-osmosis process, as previously reported by Orlando Business Journal.

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium/Jenkins Hall, 691 W. Montrose St. in Clermont. For information on available positions, visit
