The finalists in Austin Energy's search for a replacement general manager will appear on local government access channel 6 beginning Friday through July 5.

The candidates â¿¿ Turlock Irrigation District General Manager and CEO Larry Weis and City of Riverside public utilities executive David Wright â¿¿ made statements at a public forum earlier this week and took questions from a crowd of about 100.

Channel 6 will air a recording of the event at 7 p.m. Friday, then at 9 a.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. July 4 and 5. The taping is also available online.

Another candidate Ronald Davis was also scheduled to appear, but dropped out of the race June 28.
