American Spectrum Realty, Inc. pointed out that the $5.10 being offered is below the current market price of the shares. The Company also believes that the amount being offered is below the Company’s intrinsic value. The average closing price of the shares from March 1, 2010 to June 7, 2010 (after giving effect to the Company’s stock split effective May 7, 2010) was $10.04 per share.
