HOUSTON (AP) ¿ Integrated Electrical Services Inc., which designs and installs electrical systems, said Monday it hired Terry Freeman as its new chief financial officer.

The company said Freeman is replacing Randy Guba effective Monday. Guba had been CFO since April 2007, and will remain with the company during a short transition period.

Integrated Electrical Services said Freeman co-founded metal service company Metals USA, and later became the company's CFO. He left Metals USA in 2005.
