MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. ( TheStreet) -- Google ( GOOG) is expected to unveil its China plans this week, the Wall Street Journal reports, and could come as early as Monday. Google said in January it was no longer willing to censor its search results in China and could potentially shut down its Web site and its offices in the country. Over the weekend, China's state-owned Xinhua news agency published a commentary which said Google's "ambition to change China's Internet rules and legal system will only prove to be ridiculous." One possible scenario is that Google would make deals with specific Chinese ministries about various parts of the business throughout the country, a source told the Journal. A Google spokeswoman declined to comment for the newspaper. Follow TheStreet.com on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.
