RIA Financial Services (“Ria”), a leading global money transfer company, today announced no-fee money transfers for those wishing to send money to Chile.

In the aftermath of Saturday’s 8.8-magnitude earthquake in Chile, Ria has waived all fees for its customers who want to make money transfers and donations to Chile through March 31.

"With the impact of this earthquake on our own families, customers, associates and partners, we wanted to reach out with assistance as soon as possible,” said Juan C. Bianchi, President and Chief Executive Officer of RIA Financial Services, a native of Chillan, Chile, where he still has family. “Our community comes together in times of crisis, and we will stand side-by-side with our loved ones and business partners in Chile. Money is urgently needed for food, water, medical supplies and shelter. Once these immediate needs are addressed, then the work of recovery and rebuilding begins and we all have an opportunity to contribute vital support to these efforts.”

Ria will payout money transfers through Guinazu Travel, Afex Chile, Argenper and Cambios Inter. All donations will be made to Un Techo para Chile, the Chilean operation of Un Techo para mi País, a Latin-American non-profit organization.
