BRISBANE, Calif. (AP) ¿ Apparel retailer Bebe Stores Inc. on Thursday halved its regular quarterly dividend to 2.5 cents from 5 cents. The dividend is payable on Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 18. The news came as the Brisbane, Calif.-based company said it expects fiscal first-quarter results to be below analyst expectations. It also reported a fiscal-fourth quarter loss, although adjusted results beat expectations. Shares fell 39 cents, or 4.9 percent, to $7.53 during aftermarket trading.
