Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, Aug. 3: 52-Week Highs: Stocks hitting new highs on Monday included NetEase.com ( NTES - Get Report), Cheesecake Factory ( CAKE) and Starbucks ( SBUX - Get Report). 52-Week Lows: Genzyme ( GENZ) was one of the day's few lows. The stock dipped as low $49.55 on positive news for rival Shire ( SHPGY). Genzyme closed down 2.9% for the day at $50.38. Biggest % Gainers: Patriot Capital ( PCAP) nearly doubled on Monday, closing up 97% at $3.84 on news that it will be bought by Prospect Capital ( PSEC). Fortress ( FIG) was another big gainer, closing up 15.3% at $4.60. Unusual Options Activity: Among stocks experiencing unusually high options activity on Monday were JPMorgan ( JPM - Get Report) and Bristol-Myers ( BMY - Get Report). Analyst Upgrades: Barclays upgraded Abercrombie & Fitch ( ANF - Get Report) to overweight from equal-weight and raised its price target on the stock to $35 from $22. UBS upgraded Wendy's ( WEN) to buy from neutral and raised the price target to $5.50 from $4.90. Analyst Downgrades: Goldman downgraded Regions Financial ( RF - Get Report) to neutral from buy with a price target of $4.50.
