52-Week Highs: Stocks hitting new highs for the past year today included Annaly Capital Management ( NLY), RF Micro Devices ( RFMD) and Brocade Communications ( BRCD).

Biggest % Gainers: Human Genome Sciences ( HGSI) surged 276.8% higher on Monday to $12.51, hitting a 52-week high of $12.56 along the way, on news that its Benlysta drug had proven effective in treating lupus.

Biggest % Losers: Citigroup ( C) was one of Monday's biggest losers, falling 7.6% to close at $2.79.

Rising on Unusual Volume: ( CYOU) closed up 9.6% at $3.95 on a 91% increase in volume.

Analyst Upgrades: Friedman Billings Ramsey boosted Peabody Energy ( BTU) to outperform with a $44 price target; Credit Suisse raised Cisco ( CSCO) to outperform from neutral and upped its price target on the stock to $25; and Jefferies upgraded Texas Instruments ( TXN) to hold from underperform with a $23 price target.

Analyst Downgrades: Fox-Pitt Kelton downgraded Bank of America ( BAC) to in line from outperform with a $13 price target, and Jesup & Lamont initiated coverage on Palm ( PALM) at sell with a $12.50 target.

TSC Ratings Upgrades: TSC Ratings upgraded Tessera Technologies ( TSRA) to buy.
