The markets remain weak as we head into the midday session. Let's take a look at what is jumping off the board so far today.
Treasuries ( TLT): Recent positive momentum looks to continue. Ultrashort plays: ProShares UltraShort Oil & Gas ( DUG), ProShares UltraShort Real Estate ( SRS) and ProShares UltraShort Financials ( SKF) are moving higher. Amgen ( AMGN): Big winner on positive drug news. Tractor Supply ( TSCO): Shares are up over after company raised revenue guidance. Analyst Upgrades: Air Products & Chemicals ( APD) and SAP AG ( SAP) are still maintaining gains from this morning's analyst moves.
Analyst Downgrades: Arch Coal ( ACI), Massey Energy ( MEE), Infosys Technologies ( INFY), Starwood Hotels ( HOT), Chattem ( CHTT) and Applied Materials ( AMAT) are all sinking under the Wall Street calls this morning. Exchange Plays: CME Group ( CME) and Intercontinental Exchange ( ICE) are getting hit hard for a second day in a row on potential regulations that may affect transaction volume. Commodity Plays: Many of these names are seeing their shares break down, including U.S. Steel ( X) and Freeport McMoran ( FCX), among others. Gold/Gold Mining: Gold ETF ( GLD) has broken below $90, and mining stocks we follow like RandGold Resources ( GOLD) and Agnico-Eagle Mines ( AEM) are also dropping. Financials: Blackrock ( BLK), Wells Fargo ( WFC) and Bank of America ( BAC) are a few examples of names selling off in the action today. Financials are starting to approach key levels. Transports: We're seeing weakness in the shares of Union Pacific ( UNP) and FedEx ( FDX).
