Bank of America Corp., up 82 cents at $13.51

Two analysts upgraded the bank ahead of the "stress test" results, saying it will be able to raise the capital regulators require.

Boeing Co., down 67 cents at $43.53

The jet maker said orders for its commercial airliners dropped 71 percent in April from the same time last year.

Macy's Inc., down 91 cents at $12.82

The department store said it could exceed its profit guidance if the economy improves, but its April sales decline disappointed investors.

BJ's Wholesale Club Inc., up $3.49 at $37.47

April same-store sales slid, partly because of a later Easter, but the discounter hiked its outlook, saying profit margins were strong.

Watson Wyatt Worldwide Inc., down $9.77 at $41.83

The human resources consultancy cut its outlook for the year as demand for many of its practices took a hit from the global downturn.


Symantec Corp., down $2.60 at $14.99

The security software maker posted a loss in its fourth quarter, and its revenue forecast was mostly short of Wall Street expectations.

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc., up $6.76 at $7.84

Shares gained nearly sevenfold after the company said regulators approved its schizophrenia drug and it would begin selling it this year.

Hot Topic Inc., down $2.43 at $9.94

The teen apparel retailer said its same-store sales rose in April, but the gain wasn't as much as analysts had expected.
