Semiconductor stocks followed Intel (INTC) down Wednesday after the chipmaker announced vague guidance for its second fiscal quarter.

Despite CEO Paul Otellini's assertion that he's seeing signs of a bottom in the PC market segment, Intel's stock was falling 3.8% to $15.41.

The rest of the sector followed suit:

Texas Instruments ( TXN) was down 2.5% to $16.90.

Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD) was down 7.2% to $3.37.

Nvidia ( NVDA) was down 3.8% to $11.28.

Applied Materials ( AMAT) was down 3.7% to $11.32.

Broadcom ( BRCM) was down 2.7% to $22.06.

Qualcomm ( QCOM) was down 0.7% to $40.53.
