Microsoft (MSFT) has been told to pay $388 million to Uniloc USA and Uniloc Singapore in a patent infringement case, according to a published report Wednesday.

The Wall Street Journal said a jury determined that Microsoft willfully infringed a patent that deals with preventing software piracy.

Shares of Microsoft closed at $19.19 and were unchanged in late trading.
