Solar stocks heated up again Tuesday.

Leading the way was Canadian Solar ( CSIQ), a solar module maker that does substantial business in China. Canadian Solar finished at $5.98, up 70 cents, or 13.26%.

Phoenix-based First Solar ( FSLR) finished lower for a second straight day, falling to $132.70, down $4.06, or 2.97%.

Energy Conversion Devices ( ENER) closed at $13.27, down 16 cents, or 1.19%.

RealMoney.com's James "Rev Shark" De Porre noted the nice trading action in the solar space lately in his blog.

China Sun Energy ( CSUN) closed at $3.05, up 8 cents or 2.69%.

Solarfun ( SOLF) finished at $4.19, up 14 cents or 3.46%.

Suntech Power ( STP) finished at $11.69, up 74 cents, or 6.76%.

Yingli Green Energy ( YGE) concluded at $6.02, up 34 cents, or 6%.

JA Solar ( JASO) finished at $3.37, up 15 cents, or 4.66%.
