Throughout the trading week on Stockpickr Answers, investing professionals answer questions posed by members of the Stockpickr community.

David Peltier of's Dividend Stock Advisor answered questions on Friday.

Recently on TV, Peltier addressed General Electric's ( GE) contract for a natural gas pipeline, whether Illinois Tool Works' ( ITW) earnings are in jeopardy and dividend stocks to avoid, including Eastman Kodak ( EK) and Newell Rubbermaid ( NWL).

Here are some questions and comments from the Stockpickr community that Peltier responded to on Friday.

  • I am 19 years old and picked up Citigroup (C), JPMorgan (JPM) and Bank of America. Should I hold these and take whatever pain might come if they experience a pullback, or sell them and hope that the pullback will come?

  • Where can I hide? I've been in cash since last January.

  • I still think all the governmental intervention, which is being hailed as a panacea, will take time to evaluate, and the market seems to be wholeheartedly embracing an immediately recovery. That being said, there is aggressive dip-buying. That late-day rally on Wednesday really changed the tenor of the entire market.
