Motorola's shares were tacking on 1.3% to $3.80, RIM was gaining 2.1% to $41.01, and Apple was up 0.7% to 96.57. On the losing side, Palm ( PALM), which has steadily been gaining analyst support in light of the upcoming Pre phone, was down 6.9% to $7.81 in recent trading.
