  • I was thinking about dipping into Deere (DE). I feel it's the best and safest way to get into the agriculture boom. Hypothetically, if Congress wakes up and realizes that ethanol is nonsense and takes off all its ethanol legislation, does this pretty much turn Deere and the rest of the ag complex into toxic stocks?

  • The continued drunken propping of crude continues. That is going make for one heck of a drop when some sanity returns to the market. It's the ultimate farce, and the public sits there and pays $3.50 per gallon like sheep without the outrage.

  • You said that you are disappointed in Bruce Flatt, CEO of Brookfield Asset Managment (BAM). However, you yourself have acknowledged that BAM is a long-term core investment. Why in the world would you give up on him now, especially in this type of market? I agree with an analyst report on BAM I read the other day that put a $75 price target for 2013 for BAM shares. I am all over it at these levels.
