Traders face a fairly busy day filled with data and quarterly reports when they arrive at work Tuesday, while on TheStreet.com, Gary Krakow will continue providing coverage from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The economic calendar will features pending home sales, a report on consumer credit and two data points on weekly retail sales, one from Redbook Research and the other from the International Council of Shopping Centers and UBS. Also, Charles Plosser, president of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank, will give a speech. The earnings list will include Constellation Brands ( STZ), Family Dollar ( FDO), A&P ( GAP), KB Home ( KBH) and Supervalu ( SVU). On TSC, Liz Rappaport will discuss the chances of a recession, and Roger Nusbaum will offer his take on a new exchange-traded note from Goldman Sachs ( GS).
