Proceeds are slated for general corporate purposes. Shares lost 54 cents to $6.10 in recent trading. More broadly, the NYSE Financial Sector Index was down fractionally at 8,116.85. The KBW Bank Index lost 0.03%, and the Amex Securities Broker-Dealer Index lost 0.9%.
