The upcoming two-day Federal Reserve meeting might get the lion's share of attention when traders come back to work next week, but don't make the mistake of overlooking Monday's earnings reports or the features on TheStreet.com.

The early earnings parade will be led by Dow component Verizon ( VZ) and will also feature Hertz ( HTZ), Humana ( HUM), Kellogg ( K), Louisiana-Pacific ( LPX), Loews ( LTR) and Northwest Airlines ( NWA).

Following the close, more numbers will be on tap, including reports from Pitney Bowes ( PBI), Principal Financial ( PFG) and Sohu.com ( SOHU), among others.

On TSC, James Altucher of Stockpickr.com will give you the top "rocket stocks" for the week, and staff writer Lawrence Carrel will explain why even though tech funds have been doing great, investors still haven't stopped pulling money out.

Also, senior writer Melissa Davis will take a look at what went wrong at Wellcare ( WCG). Word that authorities had raided its offices erased more than half of its market cap in a single session on Thursday, but long before the FBI got involved, this was a deeply conflicted company. Check back in to learn more about the considerable challenges Wellcare is facing.
