Zanett (ZANE) doubled in heavy trading Friday after the microcap information-technology contractor said its Paragon Dynamics unit was part of a group awarded a Homeland Security contract.

Shares rose $1.39 to $2.75 on volume of 9 million shares.

"We look to this relationship as a catalyst for growth in the latter half of 2007 and beyond,'' the company said.
