Specialty retailer Limited Brands ( LTD) said Tuesday that two executives from its struggling Express chain are leaving to join other companies.

Paul Raffin, president of Express, plans to join Italian luxury linens and home products company Frette as CEO of its U.S. operations.

Meade Rudasill, Express president and chief operating officer, was named chief operating officer of Liberty Media's ( LCAPA) home retailing giant, QVC.

Jay Margolis, president of Limited Brands' apparel group, will assume day-to-day leadership of Express while the company searches for Raffin and Rudasill's replacements.

Express has lately been one of the weakest chains at Limited Brands, which also operates Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works and Limited stores.

For December, Express recorded a 5% drop in same-store sales, or sales at stores open at least one year. As a whole, Limited Brands' same-store sales rose 4% for the month.

The Express departures follow two other high-profile management changes at Limited Brands. Last week, Limited said that Mindy Meads, CEO and president of Victoria's Secret Direct, and Chuck Turlinski, CEO of Limited stores, had left the company.
