Intuit ( INTU) was getting a lift Friday after UBS upgraded the shares of the tax-preparation and financial-planning software maker.

The firm raised its rating to buy from reduce and hiked its price target by $8 to $35.

Following the move, shares of Intuit were up 94 cents, or 3.2%, to $30.61 in premarket trading.
