Credence Systems ( CMOS) and Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD) were dropping Wednesday after Goldman Sachs cut its rating on both to sell from neutral.

The company also lowered its rating on Applied Materials ( AMAT) to sell from neutral, but its shares managed to add 0.5% to $18.54.

AMD was down 1.8% at $19.99, and Credence was off 4.4% at $4.97.
