GlobeTel Communications (GTE - Get Report) got a 30-day notice from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration terminating an agreement they signed last year.

NASA made the decision as "neither party has actively participated in any tasks under the agreement," the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., corporation said. NASA's letter "states that the termination does not preclude the parties from working together in the future."

The termination doesn't affect NASA's provision of meteorological services to the Air Force Flight Test Center in support of the flight test efforts involving Sanswire 2, which are to be conducted at Edwards Air Force Base pursuant to the Statement of Capabilities entered into between Sanswire and the Air Force in July 2006.

Shares fell 9 cents to 63 cents.
