Vecter Buys Miller Pipeline

Vectren ( VVC) bought Duke Energy ( DUK) out of their Miller Pipeline venture.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"The Miller acquisition directly supports the core utility business and helps grow our non-utility business portfolio," said Vectren. "Miller is strategically positioned to be a key player in the replacement of the region's aging infrastructure and to meet demand for all types of pipeline contracting and rehabilitation services."
