Fidelity National Financial ( FNF) said its second-quarter earnings fell 30.2% from a year ago.

The provider of title insurance and other financial services earned $132.62 million, or 73 cents a share, compared with $190.04 million, or $1.07 a share, a year ago. Analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call were expecting earnings of 79 cents a share for the same period.

Second-quarter revenue rose 9% to $2.65 billion, beating analysts' estimates of $2.56 billion.

Revenue at Fidelity National Title Group fell 7.2% to $1.566 billion and increased 44.1% to $1.024 billion at Fidelity National Information Services. Specialty insurance revenue increased 28.3% to $101.45 million.
