What do you mean when you say you're long a stock?

-- Nick from Iowa

Jim Cramer: Saying you are long a stock just means that you own it. For example, when I say I am long Yahoo! ( YHOO), I am just saying I own Yahoo! shares for my Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust. (Note: Cramer is long Yahoo!.)

What are your thoughts on UBS (UBS)?

-- David from California

Jim Cramer: I believe UBS is a phenomenal company because it is the biggest asset manager in the world and has top-notch investment banking and private banking operations.

However, at this time I prefer Goldman Sachs ( GS) because it appears to have the best business mix to exploit current market trends in M&A, private equity and trading. (Note: Cramer is long Goldman Sachs for his Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust.)

What do you think of Honda Motor (HMC)?

-- Michael

Jim Cramer: I believe Honda is a phenomenal company and the stock is a great long-term investment. The U.S. automakers are cutting back on capacity, handing market share to the Japanese automakers like Honda, which can actually expand production and increase profits. Energy-efficient cars are extremely hot right now, and Honda has plenty of exposure there.
