OG&E, AEP Plan Plant

OGE Energy ( OGE) and American Electric ( AEP) set plans to join a municipal utility to build a new 950-megawatt coal unit at OG&E's Sooner plant near Red Rock, Okla.

OG&E will operate the facility and own about 42% of the project. AEP will own 50% and the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority will own about 8%.
