Technical, professional and construction services provider Jacobs Engineering Group ( JEC) said a subsidiary received a contract from Indian company Chemplast Sanmar to provide engineering, procurement assistance, and construction management services for a polyvinylchloride plant. The plant will be constructed at a greenfield site in southern India at an investment cost of about $110 million. It is slated to be completed by the spring of 2008. INEOS Vinyls, U.K is the process licensor for the project. "Our team is enthusiastically committed to delivering a state-of-the-art facility that will produce high-value returns for the owners."
