After a five-month search, Adobe ( ADBE - Get Report) has a new CFO. The multimedia software company announced Thursday that it has hired Randy Furr, the former president and COO of Sanmina-SCI ( SANM - Get Report), to oversee its finances. Furr replaces Murray Demo, who
announced his resignation in December after nearly 10 years at Adobe. Furr will start on May 30. Demo had agreed to remain at Adobe until the company hired his successor. Before becoming the president of Sanmina, Furr had previously served as the company's CFO. He had been with the electronics manufacturer for 13 years before leaving last October for "personal reasons." In recent trading following the announcement, shares of Adobe were off 59 cents, or about 2%, to $30.61.
