Polo Ralph Lauren ( RL) named Aaron Schwartz president of Polo Ralph Lauren Footwear.

He was global president and chief creative officer of Bruno Magli in Bologna, Italy. He has also served as vice president and divisional merchandise manager of women's shoes at Federated.

"We bought back our footwear license earlier this year making footwear a key component of our broader initiative of building a global luxury accessories business," said Jacki Nemerov, executive vice president of Polo Ralph Lauren. "We are very excited about this new endeavor and Aaron is a world-class talent who brings product expertise and a complete understanding of footwear to our business."
