Jim, why isn't Citigroup (C) rallying off of Goldman Sachs' (GS) great earnings?

-- Donald from Long Island

James J. Cramer: Citigroup is much more diversified than the brokerage houses, and plain-vanilla services like branch banking aren't as hot as investment banking business lines like merger advisory and trading. I think Citi is doing well in brokerage, but the sheer diversity of the company hides that strength.

Do you like Electronic Arts (ERTS)?

-- Marcus from Los Angeles

James J. Cramer: I see Electronic Arts as a good long-term investment, though the next year is almost certainly going to be rocky for the company. I believe that EA has the best video-game franchises. Plus, consolidation in the business, driven by higher software development costs, could also benefit this industry superheavyweight.
