Lattice Semiconductor ( LSCC) raised the bottom end of its revenue guidance for the first quarter. The chip company now expects revenue to grow 4% to 5% from the top line of $54 million posted for the fourth quarter. The company's previously issued guidance called for 2% to 5% growth. The new projection suggests a first-quarter top line of $56.2 million to $56.7 million. Analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call forecast first-quarter revenue of $55.97 million. Lattice also expects "other income" to increase to about $3.5 million due to the repurchase of convertible debt. The company's earlier prediction called for other income of $2.4 million. The company's shares were trading after hours at $4.79, up 20 cents, or 4.36%.
