Intrado ( TRDO) hired J.P. Morgan Securities to explore strategic alternatives.

The Longmont, Colo., provider of integrated data and telecommunications solutions said the alternatives could include an extraordinary dividend, share repurchase, recapitalization, merger or acquisition, or sale of part or all of its businesses.

Intrado said it expects to release third-quarter results and fourth-quarter guidance after the market closes next Tuesday.

Late Wednesday, Intrado shares rose 91 cents to $18.91.
