Sears Holdings (SHLD) named Teresa Byrd general manager of its Great Indoors unit.

Byrd, 56, previously served as regional vice president in Sears' full-line stores organization and most recently as the senior vice president and general merchandise manager for Sears Essentials and Sears Grand.

"Teresa's leadership skills, merchandising knowledge and store operations experience are vital assets for driving the future success of The Great Indoors," finance chief William Crowley said.

On Wednesday, Sears fell $2.35 to $116.11.
