Target's Storch Isn't There Anymore

Target ( TGT), the big operator of discount department stores, said Vice Chairman Gerald Storch has left the company, effective immediately.

The former Dayton Hudson didn't offer any other information in a two-paragraph statement disclosing Storch's departure.

"We would like to thank Jerry for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors," Robert Ulrich, Target's chairman and CEO, said in a press release.

Shares of Minneapolis-based Target were down 22 cents to $51.88 in Wednesday trading.
