Oracle ( ORCL) on Tuesday appointed Harry L. You executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Jeff Henley, who became chairman earlier this year.

You formerly served as chief financial officer of technology consulting firm Accenture ( ACN) and will report to chief executive officer Larry Ellison.

"Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. You had extensive experience in corporate finance as managing director in charge of the computer and business services group at Morgan Stanley, where he led a global team that guided professional firms from partnership structure to public ownership. He also played a key role in establishing Morgan Stanley as the premier advisory firm serving professional services and technology clients," Oracle said in a press release announcing You's appointment.

You's position at Accenture will be filled by Michael G. McGrath, the consulting firm announced.

Oracle shares were recently down 4 cents, or 0.03%, to $11.05; Accenture's stock was off 43 cents, or 1.6%, to $26.04.
