Environmental tool manufacturer Danaher ( DHR) affirmed its second-quarter and full-year earnings estimates, which fall in line with analysts' consensus. The company expects to earn 75 cents to 80 cents a share in the second quarter, compared with 66 cents a share in the previous-year quarter. Analysts expect 78 cents a share, on average. Looking to full-year 2003 results, the Washington-based company expects to earn $3.13 to $3.28 a share. Analysts' consensus is $3.18 a share. The company earned $2.74 a share in the prior-year. Shares of the company were rising 52 cents to $69.36 on the news.
