Treasuries Holding Gains in Afternoon

Treasuries were slightly higher around 4 p.m. EDT, but they were below their best levels of the day. The 10-year note was up 6/32 to 104 12/32, yielding 4.307%.

Shorter-term notes and the long bond were also stronger. The 30-year was ahead by 6/32 to 102 9/32 to yield 5.220%.

The two-year was up 3/32 to 100 16/32 to yield 1.983%, and the five-year was gaining 8/32 to 99 28/32 with a yield of 3.271%.
