Hundreds of ECI Telecom (Nasdaq:ECIL) workers in Petah Tikvah last Thursday rallied in protest against the deterioration in the quality of food offered to workers, reports Yedioth Ahronoth.

The workers are located at a southern and northern campus, each equipped with a dining hall. Workers from the northern campus tried to break into the cafeteria of the southern campus, where executives and employees of the parent company dine. The protestors claim that the food on the southern campus is better.

Most of the protestors, some 500 in number of a total of 3,000 workers, are employed under a group agreement.

The worker's union told the paper that the food on the northern campus is both esthetically and hygienically lower quality than the food served at the southern campus.
