The Best-Rated Luxury Cars

If you're in the market for a luxury car, you're not looking for something that will just get you where you're going. On the other hand, you also might not need silver-plated champagne flutes, a matching fly-fishing kit or a $200,000 price tag.

What makes a car a luxury car? It may be a matter of personal taste, and luxury trends come and go, but generally they're made better, designed better, they drive better and they're more comfortable.

Auto shopping and research company Edmunds.com reviews luxury cars, taking into consideration features such as build quality, design, ride comfort, sharp handling, performance, and engineering sophistication.

The reviewers at Edmunds score the vehicles on five aspects: driving, comfort, interior, utility and technology, using a 5-star system and assigning an overall score. Here are 25 of Edmunds top-rated (4-5 stars) luxury vehicles, with starting MSRPs.
