Long-term care can be scary. Most of us don't want to think about the time when our loved ones, let alone ourselves, will need help with the basic personal tasks we all take for granted. Yet we can't escape reality. According to at least one statistic from the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, one in three people turning 65 will require nursing home care at some point.
