Here are some of the latest reports, surveys, and studies related to retirement, including research into retirement planning for the "Hip Generation," assessing the redesign of Medicare benefits, and interest rates on credit cards.

The good news for the "Hip Generation" (and no, they aren't talking about joint replacements) is that good health and work history bode well for retirement plan eligibility for men and women in their 50s, and income and education are positives for retirement preparation for women. On the downside, most of us know about the pressures placed on our retirement planning by longer retirements, Social Security, and the decline in pensions.
