Strategy And Objective

The fund seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond to the price and yield performance of the S&P 500® Index (the “Index”). Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any, in equity securities, or other investments with similar economic characteristics, included in the Index. The fund generally is fully invested in stocks included in the Index. The fund holds a broadly diversified portfolio of common stocks that is comparable to the Index in terms of economic sector weightings, market capitalization and liquidity.
