Total return. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in a professionally managed, diversified portfolio of fixed income securities rated below investment grade. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowing for investment purposes) in high yield fixed income securities that are rated below investment grade or considered to be of comparable quality (commonly known as "junk bonds").
