Over the past few days, we have verified the grand prize winner of our second Beat the Street contest.
Our grand prize winner, who will pocket $150,000, was notified this morning.
We will announce the name of the winner on the site and in a special video on Monday, Sept. 10. We will also have coverage of the presentation of the $150,000 check, and interviews with the winner about the strategy used to take the top prize.
I'll give you two hints about the winner's identity: Our grand prize winner is not an investment professional or any sort. And our grand prize winner is not a man.
Some details on what we have planned for her: She and her husband will fly to New York on Sunday, at
's expense, stay at a posh hotel in the Wall Street area, again at
's expense, and gorge on a dinner Monday evening with some of the company's executives. (Again, we will pick up the tab.)
Once you see the coverage of our winner, and hear what she has to say, you will have a warm spot in your heart for her. After speaking with her, I can truly say that she is enchanting.
Trust me on this one: You won't want to miss the coverage of these festivities.
Let's stay interactive.
