Jim, is Altria (MO) - Get Free Report a buy off the Goldman Sachs (GS) - Get Free Report downgrade?-- Carol from Kentucky

James J. Cramer:

If I didn't have such a big position in Altria already for my charitable trust,

ActionAlertsPLUS, I'd be buying it on today's weakness. I firmly believe the company could be worth over $100 a share in a breakup scenario, and in the meantime, shareholders are collecting a nice 4.5% dividend yield, which isn't too shabby.

Is it best to stick with 100-share lots when buying stocks?-- Rob from Michigan

James J. Cramer:

Absolutely not. Investors should focus on the dollar amount of a potential purchase rather than the number of shares. There are plenty of great stocks in the $100-plus range, and there is nothing wrong with buying only 10 or 20 shares of a stock at a time.
